Empowering victims of abuse

Members of the Mitchell's Plain Network Opposing Abuse.

The Mitchell’s Plain Network Opposing Abuse celebrated Women’s Day and their 20th anniversary on Saturday August 20 at the Colorado civic centre. The organisation works with trauma victims and aims to empower victims of abuse. Their lay counsellors provide crisis intervention and debriefing at the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate’s Court and assist with applications for Protection Orders and Peace Orders. An experienced social worker at the office also provides trauma counselling and formal debriefing. Contact the organisation on 021 376 4788.
