Schools Environmental Education and Development (SEED) is offering 30 bursaries for youth, aged between 18 and 35, to complete a Seeding Futures course. The next course starts on Monday July 22. A fully funded 14-week climate resilience programme includes: an internationally recognised three-week permaculture design certificate; a six-week module on urban regeneration, learning about design and implementing resilience systems in homes and neighbourhoods; a one week module on personal resilience and workplace skills; a four-week job shadow in a green enterprise; and long-term alumni support, including connection to livelihoods. Meals will be provided. Interested applicants must have at least a Grade 11 certificate and must drop off their CVs at the Rocklands Urban Abundance Centre, at Rocklands Primary School.
