Lentegeur High School received 400 calculators from Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) on Friday May 31.
Young Professionals Chapter from ABSIP, Yonela Makwetu, from the professionals committee, Masego Huma, ABSIP Student Chapter and Rachma Ismail, an alumni from Lentegeur High School and from the professionals committee worked with the school. This was the first time ABSIP had worked with Lentegeur High School.
“We support maths as it is a very important subject. We want them to have the resources available to enable them to participate in examinations, as they sometimes need to share this which takes up time during exams. We hope that this small gesture will enhance their future,” said Ms Makwetu.
