An investigation is underway after a body washed up at Strandfontein Pavilion on the rocks, on Saturday June 15.
The deceased, who was found by fishermen, had allegedly left his residence on Friday June 14 at 10.30pm and never returned home.
The victim, a 42-year-old resident of Strandfontein, was later identified by his girlfriend.
An inquest into the circumstances surrounding his death has been registered at Muizenberg SAPS.
