Blind Buddy Day

■ In support of Blind Buddy Day and to illustrate that people are all the same underneath, only with different abilities, the Sunday School of Christ the King Anglican Church in Rocklands invited the League of the Friends of the Blind (LOFOB) to address parishioners during its Sunday eucharist on May 28. Lofob guest speakers Jody Oliver of Parkwood, Portia Dingiswayo of Kuils River and Megan Schilder of Ottery, pictured with the Sunday School children, teachers and parish rector Patrick Peters, inspired parishioners with their testimony and their account of the comprehensive services Lofob offers to empower the blind and educate society.
