Westville Primary School in Westridge acknowledged and celebrated the academic achievements of pupils at events attended by parents, grandparents and guardians on Wednesday November 20 for foundation phase pupils, and on Thursday November 21 for intermediate phase pupils.
Grade 6 award winners, from left, are Kiara Wessels (academic excellence), Aashiqah Duikers (English home language), Roxane Fortune (perseverance award), Leah Roodt (Afrikaans first additional language), Jaden Conradie (mathematics), Zoe Johaar (best improvement) and Ntombikayise Macheque (diligence award). Behind them is teacher Malikah Anthony, and in front are Keeno Brinkhuis (life skills award), Tyra Engelbrecht (geography), Lilitha Madliwa, (history) and Kaylah Meyer (natural science and technology).

Teacher Tracy Howard-Roberts, Emily Forbes (academic excellence), Ebrahiem van Schalkwyk (life skills), Levi Padiachy (mathematics), Nur-aah Slamet (Afrikaans first additional language), Alex Williams (English home language), Riley Jantjies (perseverance) and Keiran Scholtz was named the pupil who showed the most improvement.
Grade 6 Principals Award winners were Blaine Morris, Gemma-Lee Hanekom, Zahra Young and Thanaa Davids.
Principals Award for Grade 1 were Hadassah George, Thaakir Leonard, Joshua Hendricks and Mogamad Zeedan Miller.
