Mitchell’s Plain children can enhance their creative skills with Lentegeur artist Mark Jeneker at Town Centre library, in Eastridge.
His non-profit Mark Jeneker Foundation completed a three-month course at Portland Primary School, which culminated with an exhibition on Friday September 29.
Mr Jeneker said children from different schools came to learn different art techniques and forms (“Art boost for ’Plain pupils”, Plainsman August 23).
The after school art and craft education programme, included two classes a week, every Monday and Wednesday from 3pm until 4.30pm; and an art exhibition.
The programme targets children and youth, with an estimated attendance of 50 to 60 children a class, a day.
