The Westville Primary School hall was filled with the applause of parents, guardians and grandparents who attended the awards evening on Tuesday, November 28. They could not control their emotions and joy of seeing their little ones receiving their respective awards.
From left ,Murlique Arendse receiving an award for perseverance, Seth Cozyn for diligence, Aarifah Enys for best progress in literacy, Seth Goodbury for mathematics. Keesha Francis for Literacy, Caleb Leonards was awarded as best improved pupil and Mekhi Carlson for best progress in Mathematics all in Grade 2.
Uthmaan Hoosain in Grade 1 received the principals award from principal Cheryl Baker while Richard Momberg, head of department, looks on.
