Curves Must Benefit hosted their second photo shoot at Wynberg Park.
After Plainsman interviewed the founder and some of the group’s members, they’ve had more new faces join them, with members ranging in age from 18 to 72.
The aim of the photo shoot was to encourage body-positivity and to show that curvy women can also look good in jeans – which is one of the toughest clothing items to buy and wear for most overweight women.
Founder of Curves Must Benefit movement, Hayley Goliath said: “It was great to see the women take on that jeans and denim challenge. Even though I had calls from women saying ‘Hayley, I don’t own a pair of jeans because it never fits properly on me,’ I could only encourage them to try one on and make it happen and all the women looked amazingly good in their denims on the day of the shoot,” she said.
In February 2022 Curves Must Benefit movement will be hosting its first hook-up event and model show with motivational speakers, live music and good food, “so watch this space,” said Ms Goliath.
