Tsotsi, the Musical

Based on the novel by Athol Fugard, Tsotsi, the Musical tells the story of a hardened township criminal whose life changes after a bungled mugging leaves him caring for a stranger’s baby. With music composed by singer-songwriter Zwai Bala, this musical adaptation will be staged from Thursday February 8 until Saturday February 17 at Artscape Theatre. Hip-hop artist Mxolisi “Zuluboy” Majozi, pictured, stars as Tsotsi, with a supporting cast including Msizi Njapha, Busisiwe Ngejane, Bianca le Grange, Kgomotso Matsunyane and Lindani Nkosi.
