The Mediator Seniors’ Club celebrated its 25th anniversary on Saturday February 6 at the Christ the Mediator Anglican Church in Portland. The club has weekly meetings on a Monday morning at 10am. The seniors club, which was established in 1991 with only eight members, has 50 members today. The founder members were Veronica Murphy, Kathy Caesar and Rose Seegers. Club activities include praise and worship, aerobics and story-telling, but the highlight for the club each year is their annual trip to Goudini Spa. Call Doreen Goliath on 021 371 1993 for details.
